"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."
Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
The processes that God allows are not focused on what we get and how quickly we get it, but what we become in the process. This is a new way of thinking contrary to popular culture, which focuses on the end result, but rarely on the journey or the sacrifice.
And whatever God works out in you, cannot be lost. Nothing can take that experience away from you. That is why the Bible says, He is able to do more than we can ever ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Question: when Joseph dreamed about his glorious future, did he know he was going to experience a tough journey to get there? He only saw the positive future, but it required a Joseph that was big enough to handle it. If God has given you a vision of your future, and it is beyond your capacity now, be prepared that God will enable you to grow into the role. Not only will you live in the reality of your vision, but you will also be a stronger person - A Diamond Believer, knowing that it was only God that empowered you. A future that will cause you to say, "Come and see what…the Lord has done."
For us to experience the future that God has for us and be the Diamond Believer that He intends for us to be, we must release ourselves to the methods of God. We must release ourselves to go through the necessary process.
Through the process, you will encounter God's provision during the depth, the pressure, and the heat. When we submit ourselves to the dealings of God, we receive joy in the depths of His presence and strength to handle the pressures of life. The heat of adversity will not burn you but will purify you.
Whatever stage of the process you find yourself in, don't despair! Have hope that God is working everything together for your good. You have a glorious future ahead of you because you are a Diamond Believer. You will not cave under the pressure. You will not buckle in the mist of the heat, and you will not evaporate in the depths, but you will get stronger daily in the presence of God and in the power of His might. Like David you can say, "For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall” (Psalm 18:29). By faith, David declared that God would help him overcome every challenge. Faith is the evidence of your hope that all things are working together for your good. You are a Diamond Believer.
So be encouraged, whatever challenge you are doing through. Know that the process is working towards increasing your value.
For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship),recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].
